Πρὸς τὴ χήρα ποὺ θλίβεται καὶ ἀνησυχεῖ

Κουράγιο. Μὴν φοβᾶσαι. Πὲς στὸν ἑαυτό σου: «ὁ ἄνδρας μου ἀνῆκε πρῶτα στὸν Θεὸ καὶ ἔπειτα σ' ἐμένα καὶ τὰ παιδιά μου, πρῶτα εἶναι τοῦ Θεοῦ καὶ ἔπειτα δικός μου. Ἐὰν ὁ ἔμπειρος κηπουρὸς τραβήξει μία δέσμη ἀπὸ τὰ ἄνθη, νὰ ξέρεις, ὅτι χρειαζόταν νὰ πράξει ἔτσι. Ἐκεῖνος ξέρει τοὺς λόγους γιὰ τοὺς ὁποίους τὸ ἔκανε. Καὶ ἕνας ἀπὸ τοὺς λόγους εἶναι καὶ αὐτός: γιὰ νὰ ἐξελίσσονται τὰ γύρω ἄνθη. Κι ἐσὺ μὲ τὰ παιδιά σου ἀπὸ τώρα θὰ ἐξελίσσεσαι πνευματικὰ καλύτερα.
